Take a city girl and put her in the mix of country, and you will have Lauren Briant. She has one of the
biggest voices in country music today. From her beautiful ballads, to her rocking country sound, you are
bound to become a huge fan.

Lauren was raised in Dallas, TX and came from a musical family, where she was quick to learn what it
took to make people notice her. She found out with a little persuasion and 3 year old attitude, that she
could charge her brothers admission to her shows in the living room.

As she got older and the love of performing and different kinds of music filled her mind, body and soul,
Lauren started showcasing her talent on stage, playing the lead in several musical theater productions.
It wasn’t long after that Lauren wanted to take her music and performing to the next level. After being
founded by famed producer Shannon Houchins (Colt Ford, TLC, Usher, Outkast), she started writing and
recording some of her own songs, and getting them to the right people and her music career took flight.

Houchins immediately signed her to Average Joe’s Entertainment (Montgomery Gentry, Josh Gracin, Colt
Ford, Kevin Fowler, among others) and positioned her to open for country sensation, Colt Ford. She
has performed all over the south, in Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Florida, Georgia,
and Mississippi...Not to mention her home state of Texas. Since her debut performance, Lauren has
consistently garnered new fans at the shows and at radio alike. “When I’m on stage and the crowd is
going crazy—whether it is for an original song or one of my favorite country covers—I feel at home.”

Lauren has been hard at work writing and recording with Nashville notables Noah Gordon (Tim McGraw,
Craig Morgan, John Michael Montgomery, Emerson Drive), Philip Douglas (Lonestar, Tracy Lawrence,
Billy Ray Cyrus), Dan Murph (Randy Travis, Bucky Covington), as well as country artist Colt Ford
(collaborations include Jamey Johnson, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry). Her debut
album Lauren Briant was released to iTunes in November 2011.
